OUR STORY

At Ateliers 83, we’re proud to create beautiful, sustainably sourced Haitian wood furniture and accessories. 

All our products are handcrafted by women enrolled in the Ateliers 83 vocational training program, which offers support to survivors of gender-based violence or those previously dependent on commercial sex work. Ateliers 83 is an initiative of GHESKIO, a world-renowned nonprofit that has provided life-saving medical care and social support to Haitians for more than 40 years.

All proceeds from our sales go directly into the hands of our artisans, empowering the next generation of female-owned Haitian businesses.
